It was one heck of a day with heart breaks and jubilation as athletes make and fail to reach state by one meet. Vaulter Club dropped three athletes this year from the group of six and they’ll be missed. The fight still goes on for the last three remaining athletes.

Aspen Fears advances after missing her first two attempts and making the bar on her last attempt. After which this sophomore continues on to vault a new Riverside County Record, School record and League best of 13’3″ to win the meet overall on the girls side.

Madisyn Negro and Tiger Bachmeier did not disaapoint as Madisyn vaults 12’9″ and Tiger clears 14’11 to make the next stepping stone to the finish line. Two meets left for these three athletes and they’re excited to get it started.

They’ve earned the right to jump in two back to back meets if they qualify after the first one on Friday night.

Extremely proud of these athletes is an understatement!  These three athletes have gone where no one in our club history has gone before. So much to be proud of with these athletes as they pave the way for their younger athletes to follow. None of it was given and every bit was earned!
