Three High School Pr’s for Murrieta Valley Athletes

Great meet for all five of our Vaulter Club athletes against Great Oak High School on Thursday last week. Multiple personal record breaks (PR) lot’s of fun and plenty of happy kids. What else could you ask for out of this sport.

Left to right Deanna Irwin, Madisyn Negro, Tiger Bachmeier, Stephen Gandara, Allie Petrovski, and Ryen Wakeman

Stephen Gandara a Junior at Murrieta Valley jumps a new PR of 13′ and that was the second PR of the day. Stephen works very hard, so more PR’s are on the way. Stephen tied for second place with Greak Oak pole vaulter Austin Pepito, also a Vaulter Club athlete. This is Stephen first actual dual meet at a high school.

Madisyn Negro a Sophomore at Murrieta Valley also set a school PR with a personal record 11’10” from a high impact club meet a few months back. Madisyn also too three amazing jumps at breaking the school record that is currently 12′. It was fun hearing the announcer announce that Madisyn was going for a new school record of 12’1″. This is Stephen first actual dual meet at a high school.

Our newest pole vaulter on the team Tiger Bachmeier a sophomore at Murrieta Valley High School comes in with a PR of 11’3″ and leaves with a PR of 12’6″ at his first actual duel meet. Ran completely out of poles, so when they come in the boys team will press the limits for greater heights.

The hard work and discipline is already paying off huge for these athletes as they work their way into the season.

Ryen Wakemen Murrieta Valley High School put up some solid height a ties for third place in the Varsity division. Solid Placement for a 9th grade athlete.

Allie Petrovski Murrieta Valley High School almost tied her personal record and increased that record but fell short by just a little.

Dianna Irwin Murrieta Valley High School had some solid jumps as well as we rounded out the meet.

Next week for Murrieta Valley High School, Murrieta Mesa
