Madison Negro Signs with Washington State University

Washington State University, as a Division One university, is dedicated to building a top-notch pole vault program with the goal of making a significant impact on the sport. With a commitment to excellence and a talented roster of athletes, the Cougars are poised to become a dominant force in pole vaulting.

As a senior at Murrieta Valley High School in Murrieta, California, Madisyn has set her sights on reaching new heights this year. Under the guidance of Coach Doug Bouma at Vaulter Club, she has made significant improvements to her pole vaulting technique and is poised to perform at an even higher level. Keep an eye out for Madisyn (2022 League Champion and league and school record holder) as she showcases her abilities and demonstrates why the Washington State will benefit greatly from having her on their team in 2023.

Madisyn Negro has committed to Washington State University in Pullman, Washington to continue her pole vaulting career. She boasts a personal best of 13’2″ feet, achieved during her junior year in high school. The official signing took place on National Signing Day at Murrieta Valley High School, where she is coached by Doug Bouma of the Vaulter Club.
